Today’s post in our successful campus media campaigns series explores how the Army ROTC reaches tens of thousands of South Florida college students with highly effective branding and recruitment campaigns. Apply these techniques to build brand awareness and increase qualified leads.
The Army ROTC offers young adults the opportunity to attend college for free while training for a guaranteed career after graduation.
The Army ROTC is looking to maximize brand exposure among young adults in South Florida and collect qualified leads for enlistment. As part of this effort, they’ve run recruitment campaigns at Florida International University since 2018. The school is known for its large and diverse student body and substantial geographical footprint.
+ See why advertising at Florida International University is valuable.
To increase awareness of the Army ROTC among the target population and drive action, we created an integrated campus marketing campaign. Our efforts combine campus out of home (OOH) bus shelters ads with geo-targeted mobile advertising. This combination addresses the entire marketing funnel (from brand awareness, to consideration, to lead generation), helping to attain client branding and recruitment goals.
Our successful Army ROTC campus media campaigns consistently garner over 2 million impressions monthly during fall and spring recruitment efforts. Simultaneously, they drive traffic from mobile ads to the recruitment website, promoting form fill-out and application submissions.
